GOL continues to closely monitor the situation of the public emergency in the city of Porto Alegre (POA) and the entire state of Rio Grande do Sul.

Operations at Salgado Filho Airport, located in the capital of Rio Grande do Sul, have been suspended indefinitely, and as a result, all ticket sales to and from the capital of Rio Grande do Sul have been suspended.

For the safety of our customers and due to the impracticality of the POA airport until at least August 14, 2024, all flights to and from the capital of Rio Grande do Sul have been cancelled.

GOL has made available on its website, in the "My Trips" section, the possibility of changing the origin or destination of customers affected by the cancellations from Porto Alegre to ten airports in the Southern Region, according to their preference, until August 14, 2024: Canoas-QNS, Florianópolis-FLN, Curitiba-CWB, Navegantes-NVT, Caxias do Sul-CXJ, Chapecó-XAP, Foz do Iguaçu-IGU, Pelotas-PET, Passo Fundo-PFB and Santo Ângelo-GEL.

Customers with tickets for GOL flights issued by partner airlines must deal directly with the issuing company, for which the same rules apply for rebooking flights to or from Porto Alegre and Pelotas until August 14, 2024.

In the event of a rebooking or cancellation, customers have the option of keeping the value of the ticket as a credit to the company or receiving a full refund, as well as waiving the rebooking fee for rebooking on company flights. Access your account in the My Trips section of the GOL website.
