For trips where the first segment is operated by GOL, check-in can be done at the GOL counter at the airport, through our website www.voegol.com.br, APP or kiosk/totem. If the first segment is operated by Copa Airlines, check-in can be done at the Copa Airlines counter or through the partner's website. Remember that you must be in possession of valid travel documents*, such as a valid passport, visas and vaccinations, if applicable.

Seat selection is available on boarding day, when checking-in, directly with the partner airline that the costumer will fly. In case is a connection flight with the partner airline, the client will receive a second boarding pass with random seat selected.
1 checked baggage up to 23 kg is included in the Light fare allowance, 2 checked bags up to 23 kg each in the Plus fare and 2 checked bags up to 32 kg in Business Class.
The international baggage allowance is honored by GOL only for flights issued on the same e-ticket locator.
For flights issued journey by journey (purchased separately), even with a partner airline, the international baggage allowance will not be honored. In this case, the allowance of the acquired section applies.
It is not possible to purchase checked baggage in advance on digital channels. The purchase must be made directly at the counter of the company operating the selected flight.
If there is excess baggage, it is possible to pay for the value of the excess when checking-in, directly at the counter.
Fragile items are accepted, since they are properly packed. However, if the item is damaged for any reason, the company will be hold accountable for the refund.

Transporting baby items (from 0 to 2 years old)
If the baby travels in an own (reserved) seat, the baby has the same amount of luggage as an adult. If the baby travels on the passenger’s lap, you can dispatch:

The baggage withdraw of flights with partners must be done at the final destination. When the passenger comes from Panama to Brazil, in the case of connecting passengers, the baggage must be collected at the first stop in the country (Brazil). After the mandatory customs procedures, the customer must go to the GOL counter to check the baggage again.
For cases of lost luggage, the responsibility for registering and tracking the status of the baggage process rests with the last airline to transport the passenger. If lost luggage is identified when connecting international flights to GOL's domestic flights, the customer must file the baggage claim with the company that transported the passenger in the previous leg.
If this incident occurs, the customer must contact the last carrier to open a baggage claim. If this damage is found from an international flight to a domestic GOL flight, the process must be opened with the carrier of the first leg.
One piece of carry-on baggage is permitted with dimensions that do not exceed 55 cm in height, 35 cm in width and 25 cm in length, including pockets, wheels and handles, and a total weight of up to 10 kg.
All electronics must be transported as carry-on luggage. Laptops, cameras, cell phones, camcorders and tablets must go through the airport X-ray machine at the entrance to the departure lounge.
Valuables, such as jewelry and cash, are also only accepted as carry-on baggage.

Infants 0-1 years old always travel at a reduced rate if traveling on their parents' laps. 10% of the adult ticket fare will be charged. Only one lap baby is allowed per customer.
Unaccompanied minors are not accepted on partner flights. If the child is traveling with any adult who does not qualify as a third-degree relative, express authorization from the parent or legal guardian must be presented. Boarding is permitted for expectant mothers who do not exceed 32 weeks of gestation. Pregnant passengers must complete a Transport for Pregnant Passengers form, which must be delivered at the airport accompanied by a medical certificate, that is, an official statement, written and signed by the doctor himself, authorizing the trip and alleging that the delivery will not take place. on board.
