The international baggage allowance is honored by GOL only for flights issued on the same e-ticket locator.
For flights issued journey by journey (purchased separately), even with a partner airline, the international baggage allowance will not be honored. In this case, the allowance of the acquired section applies.
It is not possible to purchase checked baggage in advance on digital channels. The purchase must be made directly at the counter of the company operating the selected flight.
Fragile items Fragile items are accepted, since they are properly packed. However, if the item is damaged for any reason, the company will be hold accountable for the refund.
Perishable No perishable food is allowed. For more information, contact the consular or customs services of the countries of destination and transit.
Transporting baby items (from 0 to 2 years old) If the baby travels in an own (reserved) seat, the baby has the same amount of luggage as an adult. If the baby travels on the passenger’s lap, you can dispatch:
• One hold baggage of a maximum of 10 kg
A complimentary allowance of 1 baby stroller (for use) and/or a baby carrier will be provided free of charge.
Baggage withdraw The baggage withdraw of flights with partners must be done at the final destination. When the passenger comes from Panama to Brazil, in the case of connecting passengers, the baggage must be collected at the first stop in the country (Brazil). After the mandatory customs procedures, the customer must go to the GOL counter to check the baggage again.
Baggage loss For cases of lost luggage, the responsibility for registering and tracking the status of the baggage process rests with the last airline to transport the passenger. If lost luggage is identified when connecting international flights to GOL's domestic flights, the customer must file the baggage claim with the company that transported the passenger in the previous leg.
Damaged baggage If this incident occurs, the customer must contact the last carrier to open a baggage claim. If this damage is found from an international flight to a domestic GOL flight, the process must be opened with the carrier of the first leg.
Baggage Rules Personal item: Item to be placed under the seat in front of the customer. Items such as a backpack, handbag, laptop bag, airport shopping bag and camera/electronic case are acceptable. The maximum dimensions for personal items are 35cm wide, 45cm high and 20cm deep. Items that do not fit under the seat are not considered personal items and may be checked and charged.
Carry-on baggage: Carry-on baggage must be stored in the overhead compartments. It is essential to follow the permitted dimensions and weights: 35 cm in width, 55 cm in height, and 25 cm in depth, including wheels (115 cm linear). The maximum weight allowed for carry-on baggage is 10 kg. If the baggage exceeds the established standards, the customer will be subject to baggage fee charges.
Standard carry-on baggage: Each checked bag is limited to one piece of luggage, weighing up to 23 kg for economy class and 32 kg for premium classes, and must not exceed 50 cm in width, 80 cm in height, and 28 cm in depth (158 linear cm).
For any overweight checked baggage, the applicable fee from the primary airline will apply. The maximum weight limit for checked luggage is 32 kg. Items exceeding 158 cm total linear dimensions will be accepted only as special luggage, adhering to specified rules and charges. Additional fees cannot be paid for oversized baggage.
Valuables such as jewelry and cash must also be carried as carry-on items.
The following items are not allowed in carry-on baggage: bladed weapons, firearms, cartridges and ammunition for firearms, printer cartridges, bottles containing more than 100 ml of liquid, fuels, batteries with electrolytes, lithium batteries with a capacity of more than 160 Wh, fireworks, bombs, paints, chemicals and mercury thermometers.
Excess and excess baggage For tickets purchased through GOL, on flights operated exclusively by the Partner or on flights connecting with GOL, it is not possible to purchase baggage in advance through our channels. This process can only be done at the airport on the day of departure, at the GOL check-in desk.

Requests for assistance for passengers with special needs must be made when booking the ticket or at least 72 hours prior to departure. For flights originating in Brazil, requests for special assistance, such as the need for a wheelchair, may be made at least 48 hours prior to departure.
Unaccompanied Minors Children under 16 years of age are not allowed to travel unaccompanied.
Infants Infants aged up to 1 year and 11 months are charged 10% of the adult fare and must sit on the lap of a responsible adult aged 18 or older. Only one infant per customer is permitted.

The medical certificate must include written approval from your doctor for your travel, considering the flight destination and the length of your trip. At check-in, you are required to fill out a Copa Airlines form.
The transport of any live animal is not accepted on flights operated by the GOL and Aerolíneas partnership, except for a Guide Dog. If you want to request the guide dog service, please contact the operator(s) of the flight(s) you wish to take.

For trips where the first segment is operated by GOL, check-in can be done at the GOL counter at the airport, through our website www.voegol.com.br, APP or kiosk/totem. If the first segment is operated by Copa Airlines, check-in can be done at the Copa Airlines counter or through the partner's website. Remember that you must be in possession of valid travel documents*, such as a valid passport, visas and vaccinations, if applicable.
Important! In order to check-in through digital channels, the following conditions apply:
*The documentation (including visas and vaccines) it is the passenger’s responsibility. We suggest you to consult the embassies of the destination countries so there are no setbacks.
Please note: Your boarding pass must include all flight segments of your journey. You will only need to check your baggage once, and we will handle the transfer between flights. However, it is necessary to verify the customs procedures of each destination country, and remember that baggage policies may vary between airlines, so please check before traveling.
Seat Selection The seat selection in GOL flights must be done through website and/or GOL's: www.voegol.com.br/en/customer-service/contacts-online-support.
Seat selection will be available on the day of departure, at the time of check-in, directly with the airline operating the first flight segment of the trip. If you have a connecting flight, you will receive boarding passes for the next segments with your seat already assigned.
Please note: You can also select your seats on GOL-operated flights on the day of departure during check-in.
If you do not show up for boarding on any segment (GOL or Partner), please contact the issuer of your ticket to request a refund or rebooking.
