• The animal must be at least six months old and the weight of the animal plus the kennel must be up to 30 kg for transportation in the cargo compartment;
   
• The transportation of animals other than dogs and cats is not allowed. In these cases, GOLLOG, the cargo service of GOL, should be consulted about the possibility of transportation;
   
• GOL does not carry short-nosed dogs and cats in the cargo compartment due to the characteristics of their respiratory system. Check with your veterinarian to make sure your pet does not fall into this category, to ensure comfort and safety during transportation. If you are in doubt about which breeds are allowed, please contact GOL;
   
• GOL reserves the right to refuse boarding to animals whose kennels do not meet the required standards and may therefore pose a risk to the animal's health and flight safety;
   
• Some countries have restrictions and/or seasonal vaccination requirements for the transport of animals. It is important to check with the consulate and health authorities of the destination country prior to travel;
   
• There are restrictions on the number of animals on each flight, so it is important to book the service in advance. The transportation of animals is an optional service and accessory to the transportation of passengers;
   
• If a flight is changed at the request of the passenger, the animal will not be automatically transferred to the new flight. The transfer must be requested by the passenger and is subject to the availability of the service on the new flight;
   
• In the event of a flight change for meteorological or operational reasons (involuntary changes), GOL will provide accommodation and assistance in accordance with Resolution 400/ANAC on flights where the service is available;
   
• In the event of no-show, cancellation or non-use of the service, the passenger may request a refund of the amount paid for the pet's transportation;
   
• The service can be cancelled by calling 0800 704 0465 or in person at the airport;
   
• There is no mileage accrual for the purchase of this service. Pet transportation in the checked baggage compartment is not accepted on connecting flights with other airlines.
   
• Check-in via GOL's digital channels is not allowed for passengers traveling with a pet and must be done two hours in advance for domestic flights and three hours in advance for international flights;
   
• The pet must have all required documentation.
   
• The service is unavailable for flights originating or arriving in Miami, Orlando, Punta Cana, Bogotá, Aruba, Costa Rica, and Cancun, including connecting flights with other airlines and flights with two or more layovers.
