With your safety in mind, GOL has established an exclusive channel for reporting suspicious or illegal activity on behalf of GOL.
The National Civil Aviation Agency, ANAC, was created to regulate and supervise civil aviation activities and Brazil's aeronautical and airport infrastructure.
In accordance with Brazilian legislation (Law 12.741/12), GOL informs you of the approximate percentage of taxes levied on the services offered. You can find out more about each of them below:
- Domestic Passenger Air Transportation: PIS/COFINS: 3.65%
- Domestic air cargo transportation: PIS/COFINS: 9.25% and ICMS 0% to 20%.
- In-flight sales: PIS/COFINS: 0% to 9.25% and ICMS 7% to 37%.

In the case of flight delays caused by the airline
In order to obtain the services listed below, the passengers concerned must go to the airline's counters at the airport where the delay occurred so that our staff can register them and inform them of the relevant procedures and/or services to be provided.
Once the flight delay exceeds an hour, the airline personnel's cell phones will be made available to the affected passengers to make calls, as well as to the airline personnel at the service counters and at the airline's office in the airport. They will also be given access to send e-mails.
In the event of a delay of 1 to 2 hours from the scheduled departure time, passengers will be provided with the opportunity to make telephone calls, access e-mail and, if requested by the passenger, food and beverages, as long as this service does not affect the safety of the flight, aggravate the delay or interfere with boarding procedures.
In the event of a delay of 2 to 4 hours from the departure schedule, food and beverages will be provided through a meal voucher that can be redeemed at airport shops partnered with the airline.
The passenger may choose one of the following options for delays greater than 4 hours from the departure itinerary:
- Re-routing on the first available flight, access to telephone and e-mail, accommodation, meals and beverages, airport-hotel-airport transportation, etc.
- Rerouting of the same passenger to the same destination at a later date and compensation of 25% of the ticket price for the unused portion of the trip.
In the event of denied boarding or flight cancellation
When tickets are issued in excess of the available capacity of the aircraft, or when the flight is cancelled for reasons attributable to the Airline, resulting in denied boarding, the Airline shall, at the passenger's option, either:
- Refund of the price of the ticket or of the passage ticket in the proportion corresponding to the part of the journey not made, compensation of 25% of the price of the ticket or of the part of the journey not made, or
- Re-routing on the first available flight, access to telephone and e-mail services, accommodation, meals and refreshments, airport-hotel-airport transportation, or
- Rerouting of the same passenger to the same destination at a later date and a refund of 25% of the ticket price for the unused portion of the trip.
