GOL+ Conforto seats are available in all flights and count with 10cm more space between the seat and 50% more reclination.

The only exception occurs on the seats located on row 15 of the BOEING 737-800 and BOEING 737-800-8, because they do not recline.

To ensure the safety criteria stablished by GOL, during the flight we are responsible to evaluate whether the passengers are able to operate the emergency exit. The passengers must also evaluate, before choosing their seats, their disposition and physical condition to fulfil the procedures.  

It is worth knowing that in case the requirements cannot be fulfilled or the seat previously booked cannot be offered, the value paid for the reservation in the emergency exit will be fully refunded by GOL using the same paying method previously utilized by the customer. 

Passengers that may not occupy an emergency exit seat

• Passengers that don’t have sufficient mobility, flexibility or dexterity in both arms and both legs to:
  • Reach up or down for the mechanisms that operate the emergency exit or the evacuation slide.
  • Grasp, push, pull, turn, or otherwise manipulate these mechanisms.
  • Push, remove, pull, or otherwise open the emergency exit.
  • Quickly access the emergency exit.
  • Keep their balance while removing obstructions.
  • Exit quickly
• Individuals who are younger than 15 years of age or don’t have the ability to perform one or more of the functions described in these instructions.
• Individuals over 60 years of age.
• Individuals who are unable to read and understand the instructions regarding emergency evacuation procedures in printed or graphic form or who don’t have the ability to understand verbal commands given by a crewmember.
• Individuals who are unable to see well enough to perform the functions described in these instructions without the use of glasses or contact lenses.
• Individuals who are unable to hear well enough without the use hearing aids to listen to and understand instructions spoken by crewmembers.
• Individuals who do not have the ability to adequately communicate information verbally to other passengers.
• Individuals that:
  • Have a condition or responsibilities, such as caring for a small child, that might prevent them from carrying out any of the functions describe in these instructions.
  • Individuals who may injure themselves while performing one or more of the functions described in these instructions.
• This and other information are contained in the safety information cards located in the emergency exit seats of our aircraft.

Passengers must request to change their seats in the following cases

• Do not meet the requirements listed in these instructions.
• Are unable to determine whether they are able or unable to perform one or more of the functions listed in these instructions.
• May suffer injury as a result of performing one or more of the functions listed in these instructions.
• Are unwilling to perform any of these functions.

Terms and Conditions

• GOL+ Conforto seats are located in the first rows of the aircraft or in an emergency exit row. The service is non-transferable, only available on flights operated by GOL and subject to seat availability.
• Minors between the ages of 2 and 12 years old are not entitled to a discount.
• Cancellations and no-shows are not subject to any fees.
• Rescheduling is only subject to fare differences, if any.
• Accommodation: GOL will do its best to accommodate the passenger in another GOL+ seat. Should a seat not be available, the amount paid for the seat will be refunded in full.
• Smiles mileage accrual: none.
• If you have purchased Gol+ Conforto but are not going to use it, you can request a refund or credit of the amount paid. The request for this refund must be made before boarding through My Reservations or the call center.
• Special conditions: Smiles Diamond customers can select GOL+ Conforto seats free of charge; this benefit also extends to companions travelling under the same reservation. Smiles Gold customers are entitled to a 50% discount on GOL+ Conforto seats; this benefit also extends to companions travelling under the same reservation. This benefit is not available for group fares and charter flights. Limited to 9 passengers per flight. Subject to seat availability.
